Sarah Griffith

Sarah's Story

Emmy Award winning Sarah Griffith produces a wide variety of shows ranging from the Nashville Christmas Parade and Holiday Music Special to the National Cherry Blossom Festival Parade and competitions including Miss America’s Outstanding Teen. Sarah’s expertise in Live Events and Live Broadcasting shines as she maintains show flow, writing scripts, timing live shows and managing production details for events including Philadelphia’s Thanksgiving Day parade, Chicago’s Magnificent Mile Lights Festival, Miss Florida USA, Miss America’s Show Us Your Shoes Parade, and Carnavalia Gala to name a few.

With a Bachelor of Arts in Communication/Radio-Television from the University of Central Florida, Sarah began her career as an Operations Coordinator at Century III at Universal Studios in Orlando. After a stint as a Digital Production Center Scheduler for Time Warner Cable, she moved on to Script Supervision/Script Coordination for a variety of shows including The Pet Psychic, 2002 Paralympics Opening Ceremonies, Jack Morton Worldwide, Major League Soccer Awards, and several Walt Disney World productions including the Christmas Day Parade and Secrets of the Animal Kingdom.

Sarah’s depth of experience includes Talent Coordination in multiple concert series that featured Trisha Yearwood in Rock ‘n Rockets, Mandy Moore, Baha Men, and Vitamin C. Media/Production Coordination for programs include Bass Pro Fishing Tournament, “On RVing” and “Invisible Man.” She was Coordinating Producer for VH1’s Hogan Knows Best, MTV’s “I Want A Famous Face”; True Life: Edge and Diet; and Director of Production Development and Series Producer for “My Big Fat Fabulous Wedding”.

And, while Sarah grows as a valuable presence in the entertainment production world, she balances her profession as the mother of three children, wife of Jason Griffith, an Emmy nominated Audio Technician and foster mom to a service dog for Canine Companions for Independence. In her spare time, she enjoys volunteering at the local schools, teaching students video production and producing videos.
